These terms apply when you use lockaudit.ca or buy mystery shopping services from Lock ("we", "us"), based in Calgary, Alberta. By using the site or our services you agree to them. "You" means the person or dealership using the site or buying services.
Our services
We run mystery shops of car dealerships by phone and internet lead (such as website forms, third-party listing sites, email and text), score how the dealership responds, and deliver results such as scorecards, call recordings, written breakdowns. What's included in each plan is described on our pricing section, or in a written quote we send you.
Ordering shops
- You confirm you are authorized to order mystery shops of the dealership or dealerships you name, for example as an owner, dealer principal, general manager or someone they have authorized.
- Tell us which locations, phone numbers and lead sources to test. We schedule shops to look like ordinary buyer contacts, so your staff should not be told which contacts are shops.
- Test leads we submit will appear in your CRM and lead tools. You're responsible for marking them as tests in your own reporting.
Plans, prices and payment
- Prices are per location, in Canadian dollars, plus GST, as shown on the site or in your quote.
- Plans are month-to-month. You can cancel at any time by sending us a message. Cancellation stops future billing; it doesn't refund a month already paid, and any shops already scheduled for that month will still be completed.
- Shops included in a month don't carry over to later months unless we agree in writing.
- We may change our prices for future months with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Results and how you use them
Each shop is a sample of how your team handled one contact at one point in time. Results are meant for coaching and process improvement. They are not a complete picture of any employee's performance. You're responsible for how you use results with your staff, including complying with employment laws that apply to you.
Reports, scorecards and recordings we deliver are for your internal business use. You may share them inside your dealership or dealer group. Our scoring method, templates and materials remain ours.
Confidentiality
We keep your results and business information confidential and share them only with you and the people you authorize. We may describe our services in general terms, but we won't name your dealership or share your results publicly without your permission.
Website use
Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to break its security or by submitting false information through its forms. Content on this site is ours and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Disclaimers and limits
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We don't guarantee any particular sales, lead or performance outcome from using them. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the three months before the claim arose, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, including information collected during mystery shops.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply to services from the date they're posted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
